The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team in Melbourne. This position is responsible for coordinating the installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client's specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate site management and engineering activities on projects upwards of 10+ Million.
- Managing multiple subcontractors of varying disciplines
- Ensure that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client’s specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.
- Facilitate innovation and improvements in Site Excellence procedures and Site Safety practices in accordance with the company and engineering strategies
- Prepare and review drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations
- Liaise with client, liaise with the direct builder and sub-contractors
- Obtain necessary materials or resources.
- Organise and supervise the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipment
- Coordinate regular inspection of works for quality assurance
- Ensure safe installation procedures

**About You - What We Are Looking For**
- 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor installing large capital projects
- Formal qualifications in engineering highly regarded or from a trades background
- Experience on construction sites
- Knowledge of material handling equipment highly desirable
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Thorough knowledge of WHS requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong computer skills in MS office products
- Flexibility to travel Australia wide
