**Chestnut Gardens**
Chestnut Gardens, Doveton, is home to 100 high care residents and utilises the latest in care and design philosophies. Chestnut Gardens is built as a series of houses, each with its own decor.
Our residential care team at Chestnut Gardens work either in ‘The Avenue’ or ‘The Boulevard’ with residents with chronic physical and/ or mental health care conditions. To ensure the best care, those that live at Chestnut Gardens work in collaboration with a skilled nursing group in developing person centred care.

**About the role**
The Administration Officer is a key role at Chestnut Gardens, providing customer focused service to residents and their families. Working in a busy, team-based environment, the Administration Officer provides efficient and effective clerical support to the Facility Manager and clinical staff.
Your desire to help others, especially in a challenging situation, will be well met by this job. You will be the first contact for many of our Residents Families and visitors when they attend our facility, and empathy and patience is essential for this role. Your overall responsibilities involve enquiries ( in person and telephone), registering patient information, admissions, booking transport, stock ordering and other clerical tasks.We will put to work your customer service skills, and ability to remain helpful in what can be a challenging environment. Your clerical and keyboard experience will also be a great head start.

Your ability to multitask together with first class communication skills are the attributes you will most need for this position.
