**_The Role_**

As our
**Match Day Manager - Sydney/Illawarra,** you will take the lead on game day/nights to ensure all communications are met to the highest of standards, ensuring a seamless game day experience.

To be successful in this role you’ll possess great communications skills, highly detail orientated, be tech savvy to assist our team on the Score Table & in our Replay Centre and be confident in your conviction when pursuing compliance of procedures and policies.

This is a casual role for the 22/23 Fixture and requires you to be physically present in the arena/stadium on game day.

**_Key Responsibilities_**
- Oversee set up of Score Table and Instant Replay System equipment.
- Communicate with both clubs regarding information required for Broadcast and for game day operations.
- Conduct a pre-game meeting with club Game Day Coordinator, Broadcast and any other person instructed by the NBL.
- Conduct a venue walk to ensure all accreditation signage is displayed correctly and the venue is safe.
- Oversee the pre-game entertainment, including court announcers, and ensure that all activities meet the NBL Rules.
- Be responsible for direct communication on game operations issues with NBL HUB.
- Be point of contact for all referees and technical officials on equipment / technical matters and liaise with Club Game Day Coordinator to ensure all matters are dealt with efficiently.
- Complete of Match Report.

- Proven ability to effectively communicate and make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Build rapport quickly with Club Staff, NBL Staff and Broadcast teams.
- Knowledge of the NBL Basketball Operations environment - desirable
- Warm, strong problem-solving skills, and people orientated.
- High capability to pivot quickly and adapt in high stress situations
