**Experienced Female Support Worker (AUSLAN Preferred)**

**Location**: Safety Beach and Surrounding
**Position Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $33.00 - $40.00 p/h

We are seeking a passionate, experienced female Support Worker fluent in AUSLAN to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with various needs.
- Assist clients in daily living tasks, including mobility, personal hygiene, and daily routines.
- Communicate effectively with clients using AUSLAN to ensure their needs are met.
- Offer emotional and social support to promote a sense of independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and other team members.
- Document and report on clients progress and any changes in their care needs.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Female applicants only (as per the nature of the role).
- Preferred in AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) is a must.
- Proven experience working as a support worker, ideally in a disability or aged care setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a commitment to improving the quality of life for others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
- Valid working with children check (or willing to obtain).
- A reliable and flexible approach to work.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support or relevant field.
- Experience working with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing is highly desirable.
