We are seeking **Resident Support Workers** with warm and positive personalities to join Royal Freemasons. We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle and the flexibility of permanent work across a 14-day roster.

Royal Freemasons **Resident Support Workers **give support to Nurses and Personal Care Assistants with the day to day living needs of residents.

**Duties may include**:

- Make beds and replace towels
- Leave resident’s bedrooms tidy and in accordance with the resident’s preference
- Assist with preparing meals, serve meals, set dining tables
- Deliver trays to bedrooms and refill water jugs
- Assist with resident’s morning and afternoon tea
- Assist residents to attend to lifestyle programs
- Participate in lifestyle program if time permits
- Empty linen skips, ensure the utility rooms are left clean and tidy

You should be highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads.

**Key Requirements**
- Good communication skills, computer and documentation skills
- Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week
- Able to work in a team of dedicated staff
- Demonstrated knowledge of Manual Handling and safe lifting practices
- Covid-19 vaccine evidence (mandatory)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check or happy to obtain one

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS-approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must complete an NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory vaccines**

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged to receive the flu vaccine. All successful applicants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
