**About Cocoon SDA Care**

Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff as a NDIS-registered provider. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full.

**About the role**

If you have a passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential, make choices and be in control of the decisions that affect their lives, this could be the opportunity for you.

We are looking for female support workers for our new location in O'Sullivan Beach who have industry experience providing support to participants with complex needs and have the following skills and attributes:

- Experience within the industry (eg. working with disability, mental health, high medical needs, aged care, individual support, NDIS Management etc.)
- Clear and effective communication skills
- A person-centred approach in supporting participants in their daily living
- An ability to establish a professional relationships with participants, health practitioners and their families.
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.

**Mandatory requirement**
- Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent (desirable)
- First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
- Current Driver’s License

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check and a Working with Children Check.
