**Bar Manager - Stella Bar and Restaurant** - **South Yarra**

An exciting new hospitality venue has arrived in Melbourne, borne of two generations of restaurateurs, their passions and combined vision.

Euro style dining, focused on classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist. Featuring an exclusive private cellar function room, modern ambient dining across two levels and a sleek and sophisticated roof top bar, offering excellence in dining and bar service across 4 levels.

**Bar Manager**

The Bar Manager will work closely and flexibly with the owners and the Venue Manager to deliver a European inspired bar and restaurant that will bring together an A-class traditional, streamlined service in a vibrant and lively setting.

**The Beverage/ Bar Manager Will**:

- Strong Beverage knowledge with an ability to create, cost and implement cocktail, wine and beers lists
- Be responsible for bar team staff training and rostering
- Bar management and operations, including inventory and cost reporting
- Achieving and improving COGS targets, beverage sales and profitability
- Quality control of high standards in both service delivery and beverages and ensuring health department requirements
- Venue cash up and closing
- Front of House supervision shifts, when required

**To Be Successful You will Have**:
A genuine love for hospitality and a commitment to sharing this exciting journey with us.
- 2 year minimum experience in Bar management of a venue, of similar size and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to curate an evolving beverage program, including Eurocentric and local regional wines, as well as the selection of beer and classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Exceptional service skills and naturally guest focused
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills and personal presentation
- Valid RSA certificate
- Available to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- South Yarra, VIC 3141: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bar Management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
