**PERSOLKELLY** are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced **_Venue Services Coordinato_**r to lead a well-established services team within a large sport and recreation venue.

The venue operates 24/7 and provides facilities and services in both a community leisure centre and residential accommodation setting, and hosts activities and events for large school, community, and sporting groups.

Reporting to the Venue Services Manager, you would lead the Front of House team delivering effective, efficient, and high-quality customer services in a fast-paced environment contributing to the overall experience for visitors.

**Duties and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to**:

- Providing leadership and direction in ensuring appropriate standards of client service delivery and stakeholder management within the venue and local community.
- Work collaboratively and foster a strong cross venue culture between the Front House and Back of House teams to ensure client satisfaction and services are of a high standard.
- Engage with appropriate industry stakeholders in relation to the delivery of sport and recreation products and services at the venue. This includes a strong focus on client relationship management for seasonal bookings and repeat business.
- Manage and perform reception duties, client booking and inductions, facility preparation, event coordination, contractor management, agency staff management including rostering, on-boarding and staff training.
- Administer payments, data entry and maintain client records ensuring confidentiality and quality assurance in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Contribute towards the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, safe work method statements and systems for facility operations in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Use effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and liaise with all levels of the private, public, industry, community sectors and clients to enable successful outcomes.
- Coordination of emergency & incident response.

**What we are looking for**:
Your suitability for the role will be assessed against how you:

- Understand customers' perspectives in a leisure centre and residential accommodation setting (or similar).
- Successfully led a team to deliver high quality customer service and assisted a workgroup to adapt to a changing environment.
- Build and manage internal and external relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer service-focused outcomes.
- Lead strategically and recognise how events and issues impact organisational objectives, venue operations and team culture.

**Highly Desirable**:

- Qualification in Hotel Management, Tourism or similar will be well regarded.

**Mandatory requirements of the role**:

- Working with Children Blue Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Criminal History Check
