About the role
EZI Towing & Transport is seeking a talented Dispatch Co-Ordinator & Administration Officer to join our dynamic team in Yatala, Queensland. This full-time role will see you playing a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our growing transport and logistics company.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch of towing and transport vehicles to job sites across the local region, Interstate & Intrastate regions when applicable
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, record-keeping and reporting
- Communicate with customers and clients to provide updates on job status and logistics
- Assist with the scheduling and rostering of our fleet of drivers and operators
- Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a dispatch, coordination or administrative role, ideally within the transport or logistics industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Working knowledge of dispatch and fleet management software (desirable)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
