The Bayswater Bar & Grill is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate Assistant Venue Manager to join the team as we gear up for another busy Summer. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same – you'll gain experience across multiple departments including functions, restaurant, gaming, and sports bar. The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills. Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily operations across functions, restaurant, gaming, and sports bar to ensure a high standard of guest experience.
  • Lead by example, manage staff, and coordinate between departments to deliver seamless service.
  • Develop and execute operational procedures to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Provide training and development to staff to ensure consistent customer experience.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and standards are current, effective, and clearly communicated.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Extensive restaurant and bar experience
  • Strong experience working in a gaming venue
  • Knowledge of TAB and wagering
  • Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers license
  • CLO – Desirable, not necessary
