**The role**:
This role will provide group and individualized services that enhance the physical and social wellbeing of our members and help them achieve their goals.

The role will also be responsible for overseeing a small team of fitness staff and ensuring the facility meets and exceeds business KPIs.

You will be responsible for:

- Facilitating a memorable member journey within the Gateway Life model of membership
- Driving membership sales and retention as per sales and membership targets
- Completing Health and Fitness assessment, personal training, and group training as required
- Managing a small team of fitness staff as business demand grows
- Contributing professional expertise to the development, monitoring and review of approved programs to enhance independence and quality of life for both individual and targeted groups of members.
- Contributing professional expertise to the development, monitoring and review of our professional development programs

The successful applicant will need (or be willing to obtain):

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Screening check
- WWC Check
- Proof of vaccination COVID 19

**Essential **requirements**:

- Certificate IV in Fitness

**Desirable criteria**:

- First Aid Certificate

We are currently looking for a highly motivated person that has a passion for the fitness industry to lead our newly built state of the art gym in Wollongong. Work in a purpose built complex complete with gym, café, therapy rooms, Infrared Sauna and training rooms designed to support people to achieve optimal living. To be successful you will need:

- Relevant qualification in Fitness (CERT IV minimum required)
- Eligible for AusActive membership
- Experience in Sales/ Sales Management or Customer Service
- Commitment to providing quality services
- Have the ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise tasks
- Proven ability to work to KPI's and under little supervision
