A great opportunity has become available to join a growing Not For Profit as a Member Services Advisor (HR/IR Specialist), either full-time or part-time and work from home. The Specialist will support members and ensure the members are satisfied with the organisation’s support services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Respond to inquiries, provide guidance on benefits, services and other related matters
- Manage support requests and case management databases
- Develop and maintain communication channels
- Help plan, promote, and execute events and conferences
- Collaborate to advocate for policies, regulations, and other initiatives
- Work with government agencies and stakeholders to promote the organisation’s needs
- Provide strategic advice, research, and advocacy support to
- Develop policy proposals, position papers, and other advocacy materials
- Help to identify training and development needs, and organise training programs and resources
- Manage project budgets and report on activities and achievements
- Ensure that human resources practices are aligned with relevant legislation
- Develop human resources policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process for new employees
- Implement performance management processes
- Develop and administer remuneration and benefits programs
- Engage with trade unions and industry bodies to manage industrial relations issues
- Maintain and manage HR data

Skills and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Policy, HR, Business, Political Science, Economics, Transport Studies, or a related field
- 2-3 years of related experience (HR)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
