We are seeking a Services Officer to join our team on an ongoing full-time basis. The role will be based at Olympic Venue - Sydney International Equestrian Centre at Horsley Park.

**About the role**

The Sydney International Equestrian Centre is a unique sporting and event destination, located in the Western Sydney Parklands only 40 minutes west of the Sydney CBD.

As a Service Officer, you will work within a team to deliver on reactive and proactive maintenance requests, repairs and upkeep of the Venue grounds, buildings, machinery and equipment to re-enforce the Venue’s focus on safety, and customer satisfaction. This role will support the Venue operations and work closely with venue management and other work teams.

**About you**
- You will have the ability to conduct planned and reactive maintenance of the venue’s physical assets (Arenas, grounds, buildings, machinery, and equipment, ) to ensure a high level of professionalism and service to our customers.
- A sense of pride in maintenance tasks is important in addition to a focus on working as a team to achieve tasks within deadlines.
- There is a wide variety of work possibilities onsite including providing support to other work groups in addition to specific training opportunities.
- You have a current Class C drivers’ licence.

**1.** Please describe a time when you were responsible for maintaining or repairing grounds or buildings at a previous role? What specific tasks did you perform, and what challenges did you face. How did you ensure that maintenance activities were completed to a high standard and on time.

**2.** Please describe a time when you had to work with external contractors or work colleagues for a maintenance or repair project. How did you manage the relationship, and what steps did you take to ensure the work was completed satisfactorily? How did you handle any issues that arose with the contractors or work colleagues, and what was the outcome?
