- **The Role**_

We are pleased to offer an opportunity to a skilled, hardworking person looking for an interesting full time role with a successful company.

Reporting directly to the CEO you will run and improve the ordering, freight, follow up, storage and allocation of consumables, workshop supplies, vehicle parts, components and assemblies for vintage, veteran and classic vehicles as required.

We need an honest, trustworthy, self-motivated, personable and presentable individual who can work autonomously and within a cohesive team.

This is a full time role for an Australian citizen.

No vax required.

Above award wages and other benefits are applicable for the right person, (after a probation of 3 months is successfully completed).
- **Skills & Experience**_

We need the following from you:

- Attention to detail, initiative, tenacity and committed follow up to get the job done properly the first time.
- Sharp, well presented, self starter with bright “can do & drama free” attitude the ability to work in dynamic and sometimes demanding environment.
- A minimum of 5 - 7+ years of proven, continuous automotive trade parts ordering experience essential. Classic Mercedes Benz experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills essential (fluent German would be very advantageous).
- Supply advice on parts, freight logistics and reliable supply lines.
- Maintain honest, accurate and up to date ordering, invoicing, purchase orders, freight documentation, credit and warehouse records.
- Maintain and allocate parts, components and assemblies.
- To follow up staff and management regarding each restoration projects parts requirements.
- Research and locate high quality parts and components both new and used (as directed) and ensure all parts are 100% accurate and correct and bought at the lowest negotiated price, ordered and delivered “just in time” for each restoration project.
- Support and advise staff and management on vehicle parts across our diverse range of vehicle brands to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
- Track and efficiently manage local and international freight and postage.
- The occasional ability to work outside of the mutually agreed hours during "crunch time".
- The ability to travel interstate and possibly overseas on rare occasions.
