About the Opportunity
Ezy-Fit Hydraulics & Engineering Group has a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced Centre Lathe Operator to join our high performing team in our Salisbury South branch.
This role will see you in our large turning section you will have exceptional skills using manual lathes to turn large components up to 600mm diameter and 8 metres long to exacting tolerances. For our smaller manual turning you will have exceptional skills turning components up to 300mm diameter and 3 metres long.
Your Tasks
- Carry out the manufacture of products and components in accordance with work orders, drawings and other instructions.
- Assist with material and component selection and handling.
- Maintain identification and traceability of manufactured products.
- Carry out and record the results of in-process inspections on manufactured components and assemblies according to instructions.
- Report non-conformities to the Leading Hand or Production Manager.
- Look for opportunities of continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Operate in a safe manner and in accordance with WH&S Regulations.
- Other duties from time to time as directed and trained to do.

About You
• Thorough knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
• Good communication skills
• Fluently read and write English and be an Australian Citizen
• Have the right to work in Australia
• Able to effectively interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience in operating key manufacturing equipment
