- $64.5K-$69.1K per annum + Superannuation
**About the role**
Glen Eira City Council is looking for a highly motivated person to provide administrative support to our Libraries, Arts and Culture department.
The Support Officer role will provide efficient administrative support which is timely, responsive and effective. They will provide a professional and courteous public interface for the Libraries, Arts and Culture Manager and will demonstrate sound judgement and confidentiality.
- Other responsibilities include_:
- Provide administration support and schedule management to the Manager Libraries Arts and Culture Manager and across the Libraries Arts and Culture Department as required.
- Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders of the organisation.
- Produce correspondence, reports and other documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and timelines.
- Maintain appropriate and effective management of document management system/s and databases to ensure efficiencies in the Department's work program.
- Proofing and adding value to media and communications materials including GE News, Intranet, Internet etc.
**About you**
You will have the proven ability to work flexibly, without supervision and under pressure in a changing environment, as well as being able to handle issues diplomatically, with judgment and tact. As well as a positive approach to work.
The following is also required:
- Experience and demonstrated skills in providing high level, confidential administrative support.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in the development and maintenance of effective administrative systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Highly developed knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer systems and packages including the Microsoft Office suite and other specialist software products.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
