**About the role**
As the People Development Support Officer you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the People Development Team and the broader GEL department.
This is a critical administrative role supporting our workforce growth and development strategy which requires high level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_
- **Staff qualification management**:Updating data bases, reporting on and following up employee qualifications, police checks and WWCCs.
- **Onboarding and inductions**:Assisting in the organisation and delivery of Glen Eira Leisure’s staff onboarding and inductions.
- **Learning and development**:Assisting with the preparation of reports for GEL’s Learning and Development e-Learning platform.
- **Document management**:Ensuring the efficient and accurate collection and maintenance of records and documents.
- **Course bookings**:Assisting in the administration of the licensed training program.
- **General administrative support**: Provide project and administration support to the People and Development Coordinator.

**Skills and Experience**
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work demands
- High level of competence and experience using administration software and systems
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as well as a part of a team,
- Good initiative to solve problems.
- Ability build relationships and gain co-operation from staff, clients and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Recruitment, Training or Human Resources Administration would be highly regarded.
