**Your new company**
This is an Australian owned company looking to be a world leader in the design, manufacture, development and support of radar and communications systems that protect of our Australian Defence Forces. You will work with a high performing team with other cyber security professionals

**Your new role**
As an operational uplift technician you will work with the Australian Defence Force to contribute to the protection and safety of mission critical systems. You are a trusted advisor within the Cyber Security team and will be responsible for guiding, building and implementing a Software Configuration Management Environment with a focus on SOE development.

Your day will consist of;
- Leading SOE uplift actives
- Implementing controls based off the DSPF, ISM and Essential Eight
- Identify and communicate risks, solutions and implementation strategies to stakeholders
- Support the development and implementation of architecture for security operations
- Support the design or implementation of security architecture

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role your background will include the following;
- Sound knowledge in cyber security configuration environments and patching programs
- Developing and implementing solutions to reduce risks to networks and systems.
- Experience in communicating risks of developing vulnerabilities
- Security architecture
- Governance and compliance documentation
- Writing reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

You will need to be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position and hold an NV2 clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
