**Your new role**
Working in a major transition program, the BI consultant is responsible for migration of data from legacy platform (Netezza) to a new platform (AWS).

As a BI Consultant, duties will include but are not limited to:

- Identify data sources, workbooks and flows which source data from Netezza. This includes published as well as embedded data sources.
- Work with content owners as well as site admins and business stakeholders for each site to plan remediation/archival of identified content.
- Create replacement data sources with Redshift as source for each Netezza data source in scope for repoint
- Work with site admins and stakeholders to get test and UAT approval and deploy new content to Production environment
- SoPs development and handover to support
- Mentor offshore developers where required
- Work with project manager, iteration manager, tech leads and site admins/stakeholders to
- Identify and plan development for iterations
- Identify blockers if any and suggest recommendations to mitigate blockers (resource blockers, upstream dependencies etc)

**What you'll need to succeed**
This position would suit an applicant who has demonstrated BI skills, a high degree of initiative and problem solving and the ability to self-manage. Good communication and time management skills, a can-do attitude and experience establishing strong working relationships are essential.
- 5+ year’s work experience in a Business Intelligence role
- Banking or Finance domain preferred
- Core Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau or Cognos)
- Significant experience with Power BI architecture, design and implementation for large organisations
- Experience with Data migration ideally with Cognos and AWS.
- Stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex environments to ensure the best outcomes
- Project discipline and the ability to work in an agile environment
- Experience in management of large datasets to ensure integrity, quality, accuracy of data for analysis
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven capability to articulate and present complex information
