We are looking for a highly creative and innovative Digital Service Design Officer to join our team.

Working under limited direction, the role will report to the Senior Director and will be responsible for:

- Collecting, researching, and assessing user requirements to create a comprehensive, user-centred online experience using Microsoft SharePoint, and presenting those requirements in an attractive visual format.
- Design and publish collaboration site pages highlighting all school offerings provided by the Directorate to support schools and teachers in their daily teaching activities.
- Prepare briefs for Executive Branch Manager (EBM) approval to present findings on software requirements, including cost, use case, and potential security risks related to Personal Identifiable Information (PII), to ensure all aspects have been thoroughly considered before packaging and deploying the software.
- Collaborating with ICT security officers and requesters to efficiently and timely package and deploy software solutions while also brokering support services from various ICT software vendors, partners, and suppliers for Teaching and Learning systems as needed.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, as well as other members of the Branch, to deliver high-quality and responsive services with mínimal supervision.
- Conducting other duties that are appropriate for this level of classification and support the Branch.

**Eligibility/Other Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or Visual Communication Design
- Experience in adult learning methodologies and environments
