Digital Production Officers and Digital Service Designer

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is looking to fill several vacancies of **Digital Production Officers and Digital Service Designer (APS4)** in various teams across the branch that support the dissemination of data through various Digital Services. These statistics are used by both governments and the private sector for a range of policy formulation and planning.
**About the roles**
**_1. Digital Production Officer (Canberra, Adelaide or Melbourne)_**
Responsibilities depending on the role may include:
- Support dissemination systems such as the ABS website, Internal Publishing Environment and Microdata Platform
- Delivery of early access events (lockups, pre-release and peer review)
- Content advice on readability and accessibility
- Content author and approver support
- Managing embargo
- Performance reporting
- Partnering with ABS business
**_ 2. Digital Service Designer (Canberra)_**
Responsibilities depending on the role may include:
- Support dissemination systems such as the ABS website and Internal Publishing Environment
- Support system maintenance, testing and the delivery system improvements and upgrades
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and support their work
- Understand and capture user needs and document requirements for system improvements
- Work collaboratively in an Agile, multi-disciplinary team

- **_ Digital Production Officer - Customer Support:_** Client engagement skills, working in a high performance and fast paced environment, experience in publishing a website, using publishing systems, providing content advice, managing embargo.
- **_ Digital Service Designer - Dissemination Systems Support and Modernisation: _**Managing or supporting digital products or websites - understanding user needs, documenting requirements, and overseeing improvements.
