Overview:
We are seeking a Return to Work Specialist for a 12 month contract.

As a Return to Work (RTW) Specialist, you’ll be a leader and expert in identifying and delivering recovery and RTW outcomes for all injury claims within your claims team. You'll use your RTW expertise to identify and triage claims that are of Low, Medium and High risk of exceeding expected return to work outcomes and timeframes, whilst working closely with the supporting case managers to identify Return to Work Barriers, positively driving a Return to Work Focus with Injured Workers and Employers.

You will utilise your knowledge and skillset in person centred injury management and exceptional stakeholder communication skills, to support workers significantly impacted by complex injuries back to work, and back to life, safely.

**Responsibilities**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Managing a small portfolio of high-risk injury claims, supporting injured workers and employers with their recovery, RTW and return to health
- Supporting case managers of low/, medium risk claims with regular claim conferencing
- Identifying biopsychosocial risk factors leading to strategic recovery and return to work goals whilst achieving RTW goals
- Identifying primary and secondary psychological claims whilst supporting appropriate strategic measures in managing injured workers back to full functional capacity
- Undertaking RTW visits (Virtual and in person) when required to support recovery and RTW outcomes

Qualifications:
**We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focussed RTW Expert who has**:

- Workers Compensation scheme Claims Management experience, or significant RTW knowlege and experience
- Knowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Victoria’s Workers Compensation Scheme
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- Time management, administrative and organisational skills
- Experience in leading people, teams or key initiatives as well as coaching and mentoring skills
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role is also ideal
