**About the Role**

The Return to Work Specialist manages the interventions required to ensure high risk cases achieve the best possible recovery and return to work outcomes.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

effective case management strategies
- Experience in preparing and attending claims reviews and clinical case conferences to effectively facilitate outcomes
- Well-developed problem solving and decision-making skills

- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Initiative and an innovative approach to case management

**Required Expertise**:

- At least two years' claims management experience in the
Victorian workers’ compensation scheme, ideally in return to work case
management
- Knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and
procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injuries
- Strong working knowledge of the Accident
Compensation Act 1985 and associated regulations
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ACCtion and Novus
