We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Facilities Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is critical to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.

As a Facilities Manager you will provide Facilities expertise and support to a major aerospace program to support the successful implementation of the projects, spanning work to achieve individual project tasks.

You will draft high quality Defence documentation including plans and concepts, paying attention to accuracy and detail. You will also demonstrate high level analytical skills, identify and manage risks and be able to form strong respectful relationships with peers, subordinates, superiors, and a broad stakeholder base.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Act as the first POC and SME for all facilities queries and engagements for AIR6500.
- Provide SME facilities advice relating to processes, timelines, etc on facility activities.
- Develop, nurture and effectively engage stakeholder relationships with the capability manager and customer, other Defence Groups, Agencies and Industry.
- Lead engagement with the Strategic Partner on their facilities development program to ensure it meets Commonwealth requirements.
- Act as the CASG representative at Facilities Working Groups for AIR6500.
- Lead development of all facilities related plans and artefacts for AIR6500
- Lead and support CASG facilities interactions with external agencies

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Demonstrable experience in a capability development, delivery, or sustainment role within Defence.
- Experience in Facilities Management and projects
- NV1 Security Clearance & Australian Citizenship essential
- Knowledge of the Agile development and delivery methodology
- Experience working with the Security and Estate Group (formerly Estate and Infrastructure group)
