As an experienced **Portfolio Analyst, **you will provide detailed professional advice in relation to complex problems and may assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development. This role will have a considerable level of contact in relation to difficult or sensitive issues and may liaise with a range of stakeholders.
It will be expected that you will support the relationships and interfaces between the EPMO and the portfolio delivery teams and be customer focused on the delivery of these services.

**Specific duties to include**:

- Conduct program and project assurance reviews to ensure projects are structured, governed and managed appropriately and adheres to the Project Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF)
- Prepare assurance reports to document findings and identify key risks for the program or project
- Track and monitor programs and projects to identify triggers for assurance during delivery
- Build appropriate metrics that can be used to measure project performance and progress.
- Assist in portfolio work plan and schedule management and provide advice to program and project management teams

**Key skills and experience we are looking for**:

- Solutions focused with well-honed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have a detailed understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Be capable of developing templates, processes and guides that are fit for purpose
- Experience in undertaking project health checks, deep dive reviews and stage gate assurance
- Experience in implementing and supporting a Project Portfolio Management Tool
- Experience in supporting portfolio planning
- High level of knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Project and Office systems including Office 365
- Excel Visual Basic (VBA) coding and/or Data/Reporting Visualization Tooling skills (for e.g. Power BI)
