**Security Operations Analyst.**

Up to 36 month contract.

Cyber security experience is essentail and core to this position.

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is a statutory agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats and advances our national interests through the provision of foreign signals intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations as directed by the Australian Government. The ASD requires a Security Operations Analyst to perform Computer Network Defence analysis for a number of systems. Indicative duties include, but are not limited to:

- Responding to Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) platform alerts by investigating and analysing potential security incidents and breaches.
- Documenting analysis conducted and activities undertaken when investigating security incidents.
- Performing initial assessment of any potential damage associated with security incidents.
- Assisting in the development and tuning of security use-cases.
- Development and maintenance of analyst play-books.
- Remaining up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.
- Adhering to ASD best practices and ASD policy regarding IT Security

Must be an Australian Citizen with security clearance.
