The Opportunity

Cochlear has an opportunity for a Global Leadership Capability Development Manager based in our Sydney headquarters. In this role, the successful Global Leadership Capability Development Manager will lead the global governance, alignment, and coordination of leadership development activities across Cochlear. You will design and deliver impactful leadership and learning experiences that enable performance and potential for employees worldwide.

Responsibilities include:
- Designing and curating global leadership and employee learning experiences (e.g., Leading The Way, Manager Capability Development, Cochlear Academy).- Aligning learning programs with broader Talent Development strategies including culture, engagement, performance, and well-being.- Reviewing and improving existing learning experiences to ensure relevance and high standards.- Collaborating with regional Talent Development teams and business partners to understand and meet global development needs.- Partnering with external providers to enrich learning solutions and ensure quality delivery.- Supporting continuous improvement and contributing to a safe and effective working environment.

Essential:
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.- Proven experience in instructional design for leadership and employee development.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.- Demonstrated success in a global or multi-national role.- Action-oriented with a mindset for experimentation and continuous improvement.- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities.- Preferred experience with AI and design tools, and accreditation in certified learning programs.
