**Description**:
**About the Role**:
MPK are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team working in the Surat Basin on a 14:7 roster. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the effective management of the commercial, quantitative and administrative activities of the project. Specifically, responsibilities will include:
- Assist in post tender bid evaluations, and with procurement including input into supply and subcontract agreements.
- Preparation of subcontract tender documentation, budgets, bills of quantities and other commercial documentation.
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
- Measure and value work completed on site and completed required reports.
- Assisting the Commercial Manager in completing bid analysis for procurement packages.
- Working closely with the Project Engineers on cost forecasting and budget management.
- Ensuring cost performance for applicable activities is in accordance with MPK requirements.
- Assist with monthly progress claims for work completed by subcontracts / suppliers.
- Assist in the collation of information to produce progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in monthly cost reporting and forecasting against budget.
- Assist with weekly/monthly contract progress reports.
- Assist with the preparation of variation claims when they arise.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
- 2+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in relevant industry
- Proficient with cost control software
- Excellent analytical, communication and reporting skills
- Willingness to work a 14:7 BIBO/DIDO roster
