**Royal Freemasons **has a new opportunity for an experienced aged care nurse (Grade 6) to lead and mentor a great team.You will need to be reliable as this is such an important role and as a senior clinician you possess strong clinical and business acumen with ability to demonstrate initiative for innovative solution focused outcomes.

**Our Relationship Model of Care are focused on each individual resident’s needs and choices, via our staff becoming an extended part of the resident’s family, by building strong professional and meaningful relationships, with the aim of ensuring every resident has their best day possible.**

**About you**:
Working positively and proactively, you and your team will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care that is resident focused. You will be accountable for the development of the care staff’ skills, knowledge to achieve consumer outcomes. It is important that you are professional and have a passion to ensure consumers and their families are provided with the best care and support.

**The responsibilities**:

- Supervision of Team Leaders, education and mentorship to Team Leaders
- Oversee clinical care in collaboration with clinical support staff
- Consult with families, allied health and medical personnel
- Provision of appropriate and timely documentation that meets regulatory requirements
- Complete Care Plan Consults on new Admission residents
- Complete and supervise wound management
- Make appropriate referrals for the consumer in your care
- You support consumers to live a secure, dignified and rewarding life
- Ensure consumers are offered choice which is encouraged to promote their independence
- Ensure all consumers, their families and staff are treated with respect and dignity

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification, Registered Division 1 Nurse
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Covid-19 Vaccination
- Experience in providing clinical guidance and support and experience in complex clinical care

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory Vaccines **All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
