Easy authoring is seeking an experienced Business Process Improvement Lead to be working with the business to understand root causes of performance.

**Purpose of the role**:
The purpose of this lead role is to drive & deliver process improvement to improve the payment on time metric to agreed targets. Ultimately, this role will help teams deliver measurable improvements, resulting in better systems integration.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead/ Drive improvement project teams in the Procurement Program to deliver significant & measurable process improvement benefits while helping develop a high performing project team
- Prepare progress reports/presentations at the appropriate forums to demonstrate tangible progress and outcomes.
- Lead the facilitation of sessions to identify data-led improvement opportunities.
- Maximise opportunities for coaching, training, and professional development to continually develop the teams’ members skills and capabilities.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or related field, or experience deemed equivalent.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt with experience in managing complex projects and leading programs of work. Ideally 7+ years’ experience in process improvement (Lean Six sigma - including DMAIC & PDSA) and transformational projects, ideally within Procurement/Supply Chain environments, work processes and systems in a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean Six Sigma and/or similar process improvement methodologies to identify process waste and develop, identify and validate root causes with data, develop valid and reliable measures, as well as improvement plans for the improvement initiatives agreed by the business.
- Strong analytical/ statistical analysis skills, including the understanding and ability to set up valid and reliable process measurement - use of process statistical tools e.g. MINITAB or SigmaXL etc.
- Experience and high level skills in coaching, mentoring and communication - meant to provide individual & team support, and ensure Continuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma capabilities scale across the broader business.
