The Role

As a Business Services Manager, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients across industries, providing strategic, tax, and business advisory support. You'll lead and mentor a small team, oversee high-quality client deliverables, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance obligations for companies, trusts, and individuals
  • Overseeing BAS, IAS, FBT, and GST reporting
  • Providing proactive tax planning and strategic advice
  • Developing cash flow forecasts, budgets, and management reports
  • Supporting clients with structuring, growth strategies, and business improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members
About You

You'll bring both technical expertise and a people-first mindset. You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in helping clients achieve their goals.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business services or advisory within public practice
  • Strong technical skills across taxation, compliance, and management reporting
  • Experience managing client relationships and small teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
  • A proactive, growth-oriented attitude
