Our Client provides a range of specialist services for Community in Bendigo including a Medical Clinic, Health and Wellbeing services and Family and Community Services. Our client is located in Bendigo, Victoria.

**Your new role**

The Risk & Compliance Coordinator will contribute to the achievement of our client's compliance objectives by coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of various processes and policies as they relate to the overarching governance framework.

This role will also monitor corporate compliance requirements as well as providing support and advice to ensure that our client is aware of and complies with all contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**

**Experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a professional Legal and Compliance capacity
- Experience in Not-for-Profit sector desirable

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Well-organised, and able to be flexible in managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal, coaching, and consultative skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to deliver innovative solutions
- Demonstrated sound decision-making and judgement
- Experience working collaboratively to develop solutions
- Proven ability to provide professional guidance to influence multidisciplinary teams and to be an effective team player
- Ability to build trust and strength in our clients' governance structures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

**Personal qualities**
- Has tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy; ability to think on feet and act proactively with discretion.
- Commitment to personal learning, development, and improvement in pursuit of own performance objectives and those of the team and organisation.
- Must pass a Criminal Police Record Check.
- Must pass & provide copy of Working with Children’s Check.
- Must hold current full Victorian Driver's Licence and provide a copy.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Must pass an Employment History check; and
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof.
