We're recruiting a Safety & Wellbeing Compliance Coordinator on a permanent basis, located primarily out of their key site in Bendigo, VIC.
About the role
In this role, you will help ensure the business meets both regulatory and internal safety obligations while driving a culture of safety and wellbeing across operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analysing new safety laws and regulations to identify impacts and opportunities.
- Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Safety Management System.
- Acting as subject matter expert for contractor management, including administration of third-party systems.
- Preparing and supporting safety and wellbeing compliance reporting and analysis.
- Providing expertise on regulatory requirements including OHS, Chain of Responsibility, and WorkSafe obligations.
- Supporting internal and external safety governance activities, including audits and training.
- Partnering with internal teams to align processes with compliance requirements.

About you
- Experience in safety, wellbeing, or compliance within FMCG, manufacturing, or other high-risk industries.
- Strong knowledge of OHS, CoR, and related safety legislation.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a business setting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical capability with a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with contractor management systems
- Formal qualifications in Safety, Compliance, or related fields (preferred).
