Job Title: Administrative Support Officer - HR
Reports to: HR Manager
**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Support Officer to assist our Human Resources (HR) team at Right at Home Sydney Northern Beaches. The role involves supporting HR functions, maintaining records, coordinating recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference in the aged care and disability sector.
**Responsibilities**:
Admin & Communication
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including document preparation, data entry, and filing.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support HR compliance by tracking mandatory training, certifications, and employee checklists.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and HR-related documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives by ensuring records and procedures are up to date.
- Assist with developing and distributing monthly newsletters to keep staff informed of key updates, policies and procedures, and company news.
- Handle incoming calls from care workers and clients, providing guidance and escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist with managing staff training by coordinating training schedules, booking training sessions, maintaining training records, sending reminders to staff about upcoming training, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Perform other administrative duties as required by the HR team.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Pre-screening phone interviews, selection and set up face to face interviews in a timely manner.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees, ensuring all necessary documents and training requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete reports as required and contribute to ensuring a cycle of continuous improvement is embedded in the way services are provided.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role (preferably in Aged Care, Disability services, or Healthcare).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Knowledge of Fair Work and employment regulations in NSW is an advantage.
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, HR, or related field (desirable but not essential).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
