**About this opportunity**

We are looking for an inspiring leader who is passionate about working on an exciting opportunity to work on Next Generation Trams (NGT) project and be part of an exciting OCMS/ICT working group. The Victorian Government is investing $1.85 billion in 100 Next Generation Trams (NGT) and a new Tram Maintenance and Stabling Facility in Maidstone in Melbourne’s west.

This role will be Reporting to the Program Manager OCMS - Next Generation Trams.

A typical week in this role might look like/this role involves:

- Process and Business Analysis of Yarra Trams OCMS System Integration requirements to develop efficient solutions for the successful introduction and operation of new assets onto the Melbourne Tram Network.
- Work collaboratively within OCMS Next Generation team, across Yarra Trams business units, the State and Tram supplier and maintainer operating in line with agreed plans.

**About you**

Ideally you will have:

- Facilitating information gathering workshop(s) within ICT group, across OCMS BAU groups, operational integration teams to enable solution design and gaining review and approval of the relevant design documentation at Preliminary Design Stage and Detailed Design Phase.
- Working with Program Manager to facilitate design workshops, technical queries workshops and Request for Information (RFI) workshops within OCMS.
- Leading functional and non-functional requirements workshops to elicit, analyse, validate, and verify to ensuring that operational requirement statements and business rules are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Reviewing functional, non-functional, and technical requirements to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and can be successfully delivered.
- Producing/updating new/existing documents as required including, but not limited to, business requirements, traceability matrices, business cases and test cases as well as processes and procedures.
- Support development of operational readiness plans for the various stages of the NGT program as required.
- Working with stakeholders to coordinate Yarra Trams’ responsibilities in relation to the NGT OCMS system integration activities.
- Support the process to ensure Yarra Trams operational risks associated with NGT are identified, scoped, communicated, and have assigned action plans in plans and escalated in a timely manner.
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) group.
- Support development of interface plans with Tram supplier and maintainer including operational protocols to ensure that Yarra Trams requirements are documented and communicated to ensure efficient tram operations.
