**About the Role**

You will join our Program Operations team within the Fostering Innovation branch in the Investment NSW group.

The **Associate, Finance Programs** will provide crucial financial and business advice to the Fostering Innovation Branch, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with NSW Treasury reporting requirements.

In this role you will support budget forecasting, tracking, and invoice processing, while also preparing statutory and financial reports for the Department and cluster agencies.

The **Associate, Finance Programs** will manage financial systems, oversee end-of-month processing, and resolve transactional issues whilst maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure the department's financial integrity.

In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Associate will play a key role in enhancing financial operations by handling multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

**We're Looking For**
- Experience in preparing statutory and financial reports for government departments and agencies and ability to analyse and review financial reconciliations and related reports, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
- Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in administering financial support systems related to online banking, cash forecasting, and financial support services
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, including GovConnect NSW, to ensure service delivery requirements are met.
- Ability to manage relationships and expectations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address and resolve finance and accounting issues efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting and reconciliations.
