Job Summary:
The Quality, Compliance and Risk Managers is responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal production processes, examining products to determine their quality, and engaging with customers and will be required to set and undertake a schedule of internal audits, take part in other internal and external audit processes, and to provide regular reporting on the activities conducted.
An important part of this role is to provide a level of education to service staff, based on compliance, risk and quality requirements.

Purpose of Role
The Quality, Compliance and Risk Managers is responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal production processes, examining products to determine their quality, and engaging with customers and will be required to set and undertake a schedule of internal audits, take part in other internal and external audit processes, and to provide regular reporting on the activities conducted.
An important part of this role is to provide a level of education to service staff, based on compliance, risk and quality requirements.
Key
**Responsibilities**:
Working under guidance from the VBU Manager - Emergency Services, undertake the following routine responsibilities in a professional manner:
Quality Management- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes- Devise and review specifications for products or processes- Set requirements for products for suppliers and monitor their compliance- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements- Approve the right products or reject defectives- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures- Implement the Trapeze Group Emergency Services Quality Management Plan to support internal and external auditing requirements
Risk Management- Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur- Establishing the level of risk the company are willing to take- Creating business continuity plans to limit risks- Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors- Reviewing any new/major contracts or internal business proposals- Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company- accountable and responsible for the risk register and working across the business to mitigate risks and ensure the progress of risk mitigation by relevant managers, including that risks, are managed through a formal governance framework
Compliance Management- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with non conformance of guidelines and policies- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously- Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues- Draft, modify and implement company policies- Collaborate with corporate and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training- Keep alongside regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
Other- Undertake any other reasonable tasks consistent with training and skills levels required for this position as requested.
Education and Experience- Proven experience as Quality / Risk / Compliance manager- In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations - ISO 9001, 27001, 14001 and others- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping- Methodical and diligent with planning abilities- Excellent communication skills- Certified professional is a plus- Knowledge of risk assessment and control- Experience with auditing and reporting procedures- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude- Quality Control and Assurance (QA)
