**About the role**
A key aspect of the Risk & Compliance Systems Manager’s role will be to enhance and develop existing processes with the goal of meeting the requirements for successful ISO certification within 2 years. Additionally, the successful applicant will promote and manage an excellent safety culture and process compliance in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

**To be successful in the role you will need to be able to**:

- Demonstrate sound knowledge of ISO compliance and management systems
- Communicate effectively, consult with workers, and be engaged in the development and review of Quality, Environmental and WHSE based documents and processes
- Undertake site visits and audits - you must be prepared to act to correct non-compliance or conformance
- Demonstrate a track record of success in a similarly complex and demanding position
- Display a capacity to work independently

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Hold a current Certificate 4 or Diploma in WHS with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in WHS role
- Have experience as a Systems Auditor
- Qualified Rehabilitation Coordinator or capacity and willingness to gain the qualification
- Have WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work methods
- Have sound knowledge and training in Quality Management
- Have sound knowledge and training in Environmental Management
- Have an OHS Construction Induction Card or capacity to obtain prior to commencement
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems
- Hold a current open drivers’ license
- Used Donesafe Software

**Desirable skills and experience**:

- Hold a current Cert IV Training & Assessment
- Have a current First Aid & CPR certificate or the capacity to obtain prior to commencement
- Have a knowledge of Facility Services (Commercial Cleaning, Asset Maintenance, Building Services and Grounds Maintenance)
- Be qualified in incident investigation methods such as TapRooT, ICAM, etc
- Have an understanding of Training Management System requirements
- Have a knowledge of Contractor Management requirements
- Knowledge and or experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
