**The Roles**
The Quality Assurance and Risk Management Branch is seeking dynamic people who will contribute to a variety of projects, while working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, which may include, working on projects with strict timelines, drafting documents and processes, contributing to drafting papers and briefs, development of assurance planning activities, undertaking audit activities, assisting with risk management and the development of risk management activities, and supporting program areas.

**Audit Officer**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with assessment and moderation of internal and external audit reports
- Assisting and managing continuous improvement across the suite of guidance material, templates and external facing policy documentation
- Providing advice/liaising with key internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal instructions and policy
- Engage with external stakeholders to collaboratively identify and resolve issues of noncompliance
- Assist in reporting of audit outcomes to senior management
- Contributing to policy papers, establishing governance structures, assurance strategy and planning
- Recording and maintaining comprehensive documentation
- Assisting executives with additional project work identified through cross collaboration within the branch.

**Compliance Investigator**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include:

- Managing and taking responsibility for individual projects and work plans, including, detailing measurable milestones and outcomes and managing competing priorities within strict timeframes Coordinate administrative investigation activities in relation to privacy and general contract non
-compliance by employment services providers Work closely with senior state network staff for engagement with employment services providers and investigation of non
-compliance matters
- Undertake non-compliance case analysis and determine recommendations about breaches of contract requirements, including rectification and remedial actions Prepare high quality written correspondence and advice regarding non
-compliance matters, including case minutes for the department's executives
- Support administrative and reporting processes associated with the management of non-compliance cases
- The ability to mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to a positive team culture.

**Senior Quality Assurance Officer**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include:

- Supporting validation and transparency of Digital Services provided to job seekers to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal instructions and policy as per the Team’s work program
- Identifying, investigating and driving high quality program assurance activities, including developing operational material such as Project Plans, assessment material, reports and recommendations
- Undertaking in-depth second line assurance reviews over the activities conducted by the Department’s Digital Services Contact Centre
- Managing and building stakeholder relationships including responding to stakeholder requests, collating, and disseminating relevant information, resolving problems, escalating issues when required, and effectively prioritising responses to stakeholders
- Contributing to high level policy papers, establishing governance and oversight structures, developing quality indicators, and making recommendations to program areas for continual quality improvement in their assurance.

**Senior Risk Management Officer**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include leading a small team to:

- Engage with internal stakeholders (State Network contract managers and the Fraud Team) on investigations and referrals of integrity cases, including drafting Employment Services Risk Alerts and warning letters
- Analyse data to identify trends in compliance reporting around provider and program risk and integrity issues to improve accountability and value for money in the delivery of employment services
- Review, advise and report to senior executive and committees on the quality and timeliness of provider and program risk plan/s, and provide support to program areas and contract managers in creating and updating risk plans and implementing risk treatments
