This rare opportunity presents itself to those who have a wealth of experience and knowledge within Bookkeeping/ Accounting and love for music & events We are looking for a Bookkeeper that will leverage their expertise in the field and support the finance function and team. **What’s in it for you?** - Working in our modern and fun CBD based office. - Access to exclusive live shows and concerts across Greater Melbourne and beyond. - Relaxed working attire and culture - WFH Flexibility (1 day per week) - Flexibility of hours to fit around your busy life whether it be school pickup or other extra-curricular activities **What do you do?** Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you would be responsible for day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to the following: - Perform bank and credit card reconciliations across all entities; - Process all intercompany transactions; - Manage all Accounts Payable matters such as supplier payments, statement reconciliations and employee reimbursements; - Manage all Accounts Receivable matters such as invoicing customers, debt collection and Trade Debtor reconciliations; - Fortnightly Payroll including employee onboarding; - Software invoicing (ABOSS, Streamtime, Label Engine, Way Ahead); - Ensure all required transactions are coded via the Job Cost function in Xero; - Expense management of recoupable artist and creator costs, working closely with our in-house travel agent; - Banking (local and international); - Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. **What do you need?** - 5+ years in similar financial function role. - Completed or working towards Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting - Strong understanding of financial principles, concepts, and practices. - Competent in the use of software, including Excel, Xero and CRM systems. - Strong time management and prioritisation skills. - Excellent attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Prior experience in the entertainment industry or related fields is a plus. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Certificate I - IV (preferred) **Experience**: - Bookkeeping: 3 years (required) - Xero: 2 years (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Melbourne, VIC 3000
