**Support Workers at AQA**

As a Support Worker with AQA, you’ll empower clients in their homes to be independent and fully participate in their community. You’ll play a key role in helping them achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Personal care (showering, toileting, manual transfers, etc.)-
- Administering medications-
- High-Intensity Supports (e.g., bowel care, urinary and catheter care)-
- Domestic support (e.g., laundry, light cleaning)-
- Social support (companionship)- Community access and engagement

**About You**:
Experience in disability support work is helpful but not essential. The most important qualities are reliability and a genuine desire to connect with and support people.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including experienced support workers, aged care workers, nurses, and those with no prior experience but a passion for caring.

**Essential Criteria**:
- A deep commitment to providing respectful and reliable care-
- NDIS Workers Screening Check-
- Full Australian working rights-
- Current First Aid and CPR certification-
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits-
- Digital literacy and a willingness to learn-
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion-
- Valid Working with Children Check-
- Evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption- International Police Check (if applicable)
