**Our Beautiful Childcare Centre**

At C&K Thornlands Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

We have a wide range of cultural and linguistic background with our families and staff. This provides us the opportunity to incorporate these cultures and languages throughout the centre. Our approach to inclusion and diversity ensures that every child, family and staff member feels safe, welcomed and important.

Our centre prides itself on bringing nature into both the indoor and outdoor spaces which include an abundance of native flora and fauna.

Our centre is now looking for a **Lead Educator** who is passionate about working alongside children in their early years and will contribute to and assist in leading a team that values open communication and sees children as competent and capable learners.

Whether you are an experienced early childhood professional, studying or newly graduated and want to join Queensland’s leading provider and be set up for an amazing career journey, we are excited to speak to you You will be energetic, fun and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol in and work towards
- **Lead Educators**: Diploma qualification in Early Childhood
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card

If you are studying or hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education you will also be eligible for our Lead Educator roles.

C&K will cover the initial and renewal costs of a Blue Card and Police Check for all permanent and fixed term contract employees prior to the commencement of their duties.

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check. Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
