**The Company**

This established food manufacturer has been delivering high end quality products globally for numerous years through the development of state of the art manufacturing facilities, together with investment in high end ingredients.

Due to internal promotion, they are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join the business and partner with the Site Engineering Manager to continue optimising plant performance to aid with the growth and increase in demand for production outputs. The role is based in one of their key manufacturing sites in Greater Western Sydney.

**The role**

Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include;
- Maintain and further develop and enhance the maintenance strategy across the site.
- Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around; OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S are adhered to.
- Developing the maintenance team in fault finding techniques, RCA, Fishbone Diagrams and other methodologies to facilitate a thorough and proactive maintenance culture.
- Life cycle management of site asset base, obsolescence and capital upgrades.
- Conducting in depth machine analysis to properly detect and predict machine issues before they arise.

**Your background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will be:

- A trade certificate in mechanical or electrical trades or related discipline.
- Must have experience working within fast paced manufacturing sector, ideally within the FMCG space.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
- Formal qualifications/training in Root Cause Analysis techniques, as well as CI methodologies, including; 5S, Lean and/or Six Sigma.
- You will be a strong communicator, both verbal and written with excellent problem solving abilities.
