J.A.C. Pump Services is a well established industrial pump supply and repair company operating predominately in the mining and municipal markets.

Perfect start for a mechanical fitter wanting to focus their career into specialty repair and installation. Attractive hourly rates with considerable overtime when completing installations or services onsite

Successful applicants must have the following essential skills & licenses;
Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical trade or equivalent qualification is essential

Experience in maintenance and fault finding

Manual valid Australian ‘C’ class drivers licence

Forklift licence

Current white card

Great communication skills

Able to pass drug & alcohol

Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments

Great work attitude and flexibility a must

Ability to problem-solve on the go and adapt to changing work environments

Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using engineering measuring devices

Ability to travel and stay away for work 1-2 weeks per month

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small close knit team

Desirable

Ability to commence as soon as possible

Previous experience and competent in light fabrication work

MR drivers license

Experience in the water and wastewater industries

Confined space accreditation

Experience operating vehicle mounted cranes

Job responsibilities include but is not limited to;
- Detailed strip reporting and log information accurately
- Pump installation
- Fault finding
- Maintaining quality standards
- Ability to time manage and achieve an economical workload
