**The Opportunity**
- Roster: 48hrs M-F, D/N Rotational | Early finish on Friday (no weekends)
- Earning potential up to $140,000k or $55ph *Guide only

Due to workshop expansion, WesTrac is seeking a high-precision Crankshaft Grinding Machinist to perform crankshaft grinding and cylindrical grinding and measuring tasks, on large-scale engine and hydraulic components.
This role will join a wider on-shift team of 40+ First Class Machinists, Boilermakers and Trades Assistants. Our machine shop boasts a 2000~ sqr meter shed equipped with over 20 robotic generated machines used for both manual and CNC tasks. Our shop offers exposure to Manual Lathes, Surface Grinders, Vertical and Horizontal CNC Borers, and CNC Mills to name a few. Our workshop focuses on the complete overhaul and restoration to like new condition of all outgoing plant equipment and components.
**Skill & Experience**
- Cert 3 Trade Qualification: Mechanical Engineering/Fitter & Machining or equivalent
- Post-trade manual machining experience is essential
- Proficient with modern safety procedures: Take 5’s/ JSA’S/ SWIMS
- Sound working knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is desirable
- Dogman ticket desirable
