Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel’s capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future. **Job Summary**: In this role, you will provide knowledge, expertise, input, training, and consultative support for the Building Services systems required for commissioning and startup. You will participate in work planning and packaging, turnover coordination, quality control, and environmental safety and health. You will be an essential resource for specialized technical advice as it relates to the commissioning of the building services. **Major Responsibilities**: - Support of commissioning activities related to the building services of various facilities - Plan and schedule CSU activities sequence and resource requirements for assigned areas of responsibility that will be required by contractors - Review contractor submissions for commissioning of building services - Review building services design related to the building services scope - Participates in Construction to CSU turnover walkdowns for assign areas of responsibility - Interfaces with the Field Engineer as required to support component/system turnover - Performs walkdowns to validate that the system configuration is in accordance with the design as required - Identifies and resolves/elevates ES&H issues in the field and is a visible 'walk the talk' leader in good ES&H practices **Education and Experience Requirements**: - Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience **Required Knowledge and Skills**: - Previous experience with commissioning of building services in a public infrastructure facility e.g. airport - Technical background in one or more building services systems - Understanding of building systems how to commission them - Ability to build strong relationships with external entities and building services approval companies. - Good background using computers and basic word processing and spreadsheets **Total Rewards/Benefits**: For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond Because our teams face some of the world's toughest challenges, we offer robust benefits to ensure our people thrive.
