Shopper Marketing and Brand Activation Manager

From Brand strategy through execution, the DKSH Brand incubator Marketing team takes Brands to the next level.- The primary purpose of the role is to plan, develop and execute annual major brand activations and campaigns across multiple communication touchpoints and with a particular focus on the instore and digital retail customer activation calendar for our key brands. Optimise the customer experience during the shopper journey and work with brand principles to advise best practice activations throughout the year.**Some of your duties will include**:
- Ensure the ‘brand story’ for each of our key brands is continued through a memorable ‘path to purchase’ experience. Find new ways of creatively communicating to our shoppers/consumers via campaigns and activations on this journey.
- Develop, manage, and maintain retailer in-store and online brand activation calendars. This includes Work with Coles and WW marketing teams and DKSH key account managers to plan and execute in-store and online trade campaigns.
- Examples include (but is not limited to) brief field team for successful executions, in-store POS, Coles/Woolworths Magazine Advertising, Branded Shop Pages Online, Search and Display Online, Everyday Rewards Program/Fly Buys and Catalogues and Brochures
- Lead, implement and drive the major retailer eCommerce channel with the objective of increasing online visibility, sales, and penetration for our brands, and with a strong focus on winning in Coles and WW online.
- Identify opportunities to improve the ROI for online activation initiatives
- Paid social driving consumers to our brands on WW or Coles online
- Pioneer new and evolving digital techniques to push the shopper marketing plans.
- Compile and organise monthly actual campaign and trade activation costs for tracking and analysis purposes. Provide administrative support in tracking trade marketing accruals and expenses and report back to brands
- Gather feedback from various sources on brand campaigns, activations and trade marketing effectiveness and provide reports on activations for brand principles
- Support Marketing Manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- You have an engaging personality with an ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will possess the ability to work with category and insights team members to ensure customer and consumer insights are incorporated into campaigns and activations. You are well established in your career and have worked in a similar position within FMCG and have at least 5 years of work experience in marketing or advertising with a focus on retail shopper marketing campaigns and activations instore, online and across channels such as print, outdoor, events, social and digital.**Drive Growth.
