**Job Profile**:
Gold Disability Services is expanding its team and seeking a talented Business Development Officer. As a key member of our team, you'll provide top-notch support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless service delivery and an exceptional customer experience for NDIS participants

**Competence and experience required**:

- Identifying and engaging new NDIS participants to utilize our diverse support services, spanning individualized in-home care, day programs, respite care, SIL, and SDA solutions
- NDIS industry expertise, complemented by strong networking skills, community connections, and a proven ability to develop effective branding, marketing, and engagement strategies
- Networking & meeting with those in the disability sector with Support Coordinators, hospitals, mental health departments and other NDIS providers
- Networking with LACs, and government departments to develop, implement and evaluate community engagement and brand awareness opportunities for SIL and SDA business.
- Develop engagement strategies.
- Develop business and relationship management strategies for the organisation.
- Attending network events, conferences, and other important relationship-building events
- Proactively nurturing leads in the pipeline and maintaining meaningful engagement throughout the customer journey.
- Proven performance in business development/growth in the healthcare space
- Be able to work with KPIs, and targets and Set quarterly Business Objectives.
- Converting leads into prospects
- Generating and managing new relationship opportunities
- Developing networks in the community to foster customer engagement & enquiries.
- Consulting with participants to help them understand the NDIS process.
- Representing the organization at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to foster strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Driving marketing through social media and other digital channels
- Company audits to ensure compliance.

Blacktown and sometimes remotely.

**About you**:
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric professional who thrives on providing top-notch service and fostering strong working relationships. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities while consistently delivering excellent customer experiences will be crucial to your success in this role.
- A sound understanding of the person-centred approach, the principles of the NDIS and the National Disability Service Standards, with experience working within the NDIS and/or disability sector.
- Experience in an intake or similar role (desirable)
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, work to targets and respond to a changing environment.
- Ability to understand and work within prescribed systems and procedures.

**Qualifications**:
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain the following:

- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker screening clearance
- Working with Children Check
- National Criminal History check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed.
- NSW driver’s licence and a reliable car
- Relevant certificates
