Administration/accounts Officer

Work for one of the leading extension building companies in Newcastle and run their office
My client, located in Belmont have been in business for over 45 years. They now require an office guru to join their team. Taking charge of the day to day running of the office administration and accounts tasks, no 2 days will be the same for you.
Your role will include;
- Managing accounts receivable and payable
- Small payroll
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Answering phones
- Customer liaison
- Ensuring all subcontractor insurances & subcontractor statements are up-to-date
- Renew registrations, licences and memberships as they become due
- Managing office supplies and petty cash
- Sending out progress payment invoices to customers
About You;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience with MYOB
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong ability to multitask
Building/Construction Industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
This is a full time, office based role with hours 8:30am - 4:30pm. There will be times when you will be in the office flying solo while the hands on team and contractors will be on sites completing works.
