Your Opportunity
The Multimedia Designer is an integral member of our collaborative team, providing creative multimedia design and production solutions across print and electronic media to support communication and marketing strategies for departmental initiatives and programs which highlight the positive outcomes for Queensland's schools as well as the achievements of the IT Branch. We are creating a great digital future for every Queenslander
Working with like-minded graphic designers and communications specialists, you will provide advice to IT Branch teams on all aspects of design and production that ensures adherence to Queensland Government corporate identity and departmental publishing standards.
Your Role

**Responsibilities include**:

- Use effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise workloads, meet timelines and budget expenditure to ensure quality outcomes for activities and projects.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, specialist consultants and other relevant project stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Provide clear and concise advice to key stakeholders on design and multimedia elements, ensuring adherence to departmental standards, style and image
- Develop high quality multimedia solutions and user centred focused designs for online delivery, in accordance with Government and industry standards and accessibility guidelines
- Maintain a positive outlook in difficult circumstances and possess an agile approach to a frequently changing design environment.
- Use effective multimedia skills, such as animation and motion graphics, to develop innovative and engaging online solutions.
- Work with the team to create, plan and execute filming and editing of various video requirements that align with the department's strategic goals.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
